Among the vacuum tubes that arrived across the Pacific, the moment I picked up the first Sovtek box, I had an ominous feeling as I heard the sound of powder moving inside.
The vacuum tube inside the box was shattered.
I was worried that all the remaining tubes might also be damaged, but fortunately, seven tubes were intact, and two tubes had damaged internal structure supports.
It was a small consolation that the tube that arrived broken was a 6N13PT. (The dead one is 83/85, the surviving one is 76/82)
The vacuum tubes whose structural supports inside the vacuum tube were damaged are RCA''s 86/86 (manufactured in 1959) and 88/90 (manufactured in 1951) vacuum tubes. In particular, the 88/90 vacuum tube seemed to be greatly shocked because there was no buffer in the box to hold the pin base.
Not only was the supporter broken, but the structure arrived bent and slightly tilted to the side.
Out of the 10 vacuum tubes, the one I liked the most was the 88/90 vacuum tube, but I was disturbed to see so many pieces of glass rolling around inside the vacuum tube.
I collected pieces of glass on the other side of the getter and carefully tested.
Fortunately, both tubes worked normally, and among the nine surviving tubes, the 88/90 tube produced the most perfect sound.
Among the tubes sent by the seller, two RCA from 1951, two RCA from 1959, one RCA from 1964, one RCA from 1965, and one from Silvania, Svetlana, and Shuguang survived and all worked normally.
Judging from Barium Miller''s condition, the N.O.S.s are Sylvia, Svetlana, and Shugwang, and the rest of the coffins are used a lot, so they don''t seem to last long.
The marking was made in Germany, but in fact, Russian Silvania and Svetlana were also products I was curious about, but it was a good opportunity to hear them in person, and two RCA 1951 vacuum tubes also gave as good a sound as expected.
The RCA manufactured in 1959 also produced a compliant sound, but the RCA manufactured in the 1960s produced less-than-expected sound.

One tube arrived broken, and most of the tubes were not N.O.S. as the seller described, but I was already expecting that, so I wasn''t too disappointed.
However, if I repurchase next time, please pay more attention to safety packaging then.
